An amazing community effort resulted in a very special day at Edmonton's Food Bank. Well over 5000 kg of food was recently donated, and this is the story of how it happened, and who made it happen.

All of our volunteers make a valuable contribution to our work in the community. Mike Brisseau, one of our fantastic volunteers was the recipient of a Senate 150th Anniversary medal.

People had the chance to make a difference during the holiday season, by making a monetary donation or a donation of non-perishable food. Some enjoyable events took place including the Magical Christmas Music Gala, Candy Cane Lane and Can Man Dan Food & Fundraiser.

The annual Edmonton Food Drive for Edmonton's Food Bank was a tremendous success thanks to the volunteers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the generous donations of Edmontonians.

Our loading dock received new improvements to help us get needed food out to our clients.

A brief look at the many events that Edmonton's Food Bank was a part of in 2018!

Once again festival-goers supported Edmonton’s Food Bank at this year’s Edmonton Heritage Festival presented by Servus Credit Union. The goal was to raise 50,000 kilograms of food during the Festival food drive which officially lasts until Friday, August 10. To date the Food Bank has only collected 36,000 kilograms of food.
