Robert's Story
Since the beginning of 2019, Robert has regularly used the services of Edmonton's Food Bank. He's been on disability and money has been tight. Robert was candid with us, saying that, without the Food Bank, he would have gone hungry. Yet, he is always grateful, especially when he calls Client Services to book an appointment, saying “Thank you very much,” and “Thank you for all your help." When it comes to other people who are in need, take it from Robert when he says, "There's nothing to be ashamed of if you're in ‘need’. There is help available and I do recommend if you're in need, to call." Robert’s goal is to be able to give back by donating food once he gets on his feet.
