On March 7 the Edmonton Girl Guides will be having their annual Hike for Plenty Food Drive in support of Edmonton's Food Bank. Watch for a flyer notice at your door and please leave food donations on your front porch before 10 am on March 7th. The Guides will be out picking up donations between 10 am and noon.
In 2019 the Edmonton Girl Guides raised 6,780 kilograms of food! Thank you, Edmonton!
If your home does not receive a flyer but you would like to donate, the following locations will have Edmonton's Food Bank trucks on-site to accept donations:
Bonnie Doon Mall - 8330 82 Street SE parking lot by BMO
Lorelei Beaumaris Community League - 16220 103 Street
Archbishop Oscar Romero High School - parking lot 178 Street - 69 Avenue
McClure United Church - 13708 - 74 Street
Edmonton Food Bank warehouse - 11508-120 Street
