Edmonton’s Food Bank held its first virtual AGM on Thursday, May 21st. The 2020 Annual General Meeting presented the 2019 Annual Report, 2019 Audited Financial Statements, the report from the Board Nominations Committee, our COVID-19 update, along with the 2019 Year In Review video (see below).
The Year in Review video highlights the food and funds raised, events held, volunteers that help us, and community partners that work with us. Also included are some of the people we’ve helped and continue to serve; and our ongoing operations to help fight hunger in our city. We also take note that 2019 was a difficult year. Of course, nothing compares to what we have experienced in 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic.
