Free Comic Book Day is Saturday May 3!
Let the annual celebration of reading and comics begin! The first Saturday of May is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY #FCBD and there are FREE comics rated all-ages, general audiences, and mature readers. Something for EVERYONE!
They’re accepting donations to Edmonton's Food Bank (cash and non-perishables) in exchange for original artwork from local artists!
How it works:
- Bring a donation for the Edmonton Food Bank and give it to our helpful volunteers.
- The volunteers will give you a commission slip based on the value of your donation:
- Small B&W Sketch for a minimum $15 donation
- Small Colour Sketch for a minimum $30 donation
- Large B&W Sketch for a minimum $25 donation
- Large Colour Sketch for a minimum $50 donation
Give the slip to the local Artist of your choice:

Your original artwork will take more than a few minutes to complete, we will give you a call when it’s ready for pick up at RT HQ following the FCBD shenanigans.
