The Provincial Archives of Alberta has a new exhibit titled "150 Firsts: How Alberta Changed Canada...Forever".
One of the firsts mentioned in the exhibit is the Edmonton Gleaners Association, formed in 1981, which became Edmonton's Food Bank.
This was Canada's first Food Bank, and today continues to provide food assistance to Edmontonians.
