CanadaHelps is a charitable social enterprise dedicated to informing, inspiring, and connecting donors and charities, while democratizing access to effective technology and education in the charitable sector. In other words, CanadaHelps provides the secure platform used to process financial gifts.
When making a donation to Edmonton's Food Bank through CanadaHelps, donors will see an option at checkout to add a donation directly to CanadaHelps in support of their platform. This additional contribution is entirely optional—donors can uncheck the box or adjust the amount as they prefer.

This year, Edmonton’s Food Bank aims to match last year’s fundraising, with a goal of surpassing $54M in funds and food donations to support our community. It will cost approximately 3% for administration and fundraising costs to raise this. The funds from our annual campaign will support the effective distribution of food, free of charge, to people in need in Edmonton.
