Edmonton's Food Bank donors create impact.

Community or Collective Kitchens (different terms, same concept) are community-based cooking programs that bring groups together to prepare food, cook and eat. These kitchens help individuals share knowledge, culture, resources, and cooking skills, fostering connections within the community.

In early August, Edmonton's Food Bank, along with amazing volunteers, visited Edmonton's City Farms - a repurposed tree nursery. We learned about sustainable farming practices, harvested fresh produce for the Food Bank, and discussed the importance of food security and community.
