The Rejoice 10th Annual Self-Care & Healthful Hamper Food Drive is Back!

The Healthful Hamper Food Drive is running again for its 10th year in a row in collaboration with Edmonton's Food Bank to help feed families in need this season. Recent years have taken a toll on many families (mental health, addiction, and homeless statistics are up as a result of isolation, job loss, and inflation costs). Many families are struggling and the demand on the Food Bank continues to grow. If you have even a dollar to spare to support those locally in your community and put food on their tables this season it would be greatly appreciated.

The past few years have been so heavy for so many & we could all do with a little self-care. This is why the Rejoice Self Care Advent Calendar Challenge is back!

It runs from December 1 - December 25, 2025. The Giving Circle runs full circle in this event - supporting your wellness, women-owned local businesses supporting you, you supporting back, & all contributing to local families in need this season.

Rejoice will donate $2 of every purchase you make with any of the contributing local businesses on your behalf to the Healthful Hamper food drive to feed families in need this holiday. Also, many of these amazing female entrepreneurs are offering additional discount codes when you shop & proceeds of their sales to the Food Bank during the event! We are raising the vibration this holiday season.

Many people facing food insecurity rely on Edmonton’s Food Bank to help them put food on the table. These same people are more likely than others to also struggle with type II diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. These health conditions are directly affected by the food we eat!

Highly processed foods, like those in convenience stores and frequently in emergency food boxes are loaded with calories and stripped of nutrients. When a diet is composed almost exclusively of such food, malnourishment in the form of lack of necessary nutrients for health takes hold. Thus, we have a food insecure population that battles a variety of health conditions. This is why The Healthful Hamper Food Drive is necessary and will be impactful. We are asking you to please consider healthier food options when donating to our drive December 1 through 25. Thank you!
