On Saturday, March 14 the Edmonton Girl Guides will be having their annual Hike for Plenty Food Drive in support of Edmonton's Food Bank. The Girl Guides will be going door to door in select neighbourhoods and collecting at various local Shoppers Drug Mart and grocery store locations.

If your neighbourhood will have a door to door you will receive a flyer at your front door in the days leading up to the event. Donations will be picked up between 10 am and 2 pm on March 14. You can also drop off a donation with the Girl Guides between 10 am and 2 pm that Saturday at the locations listed below.

Since 1999 the Edmonton Girl Guides Hike for Plenty has collected over 180,000 kilograms of food for Edmonton's Food Bank!

On March 14, drop off non-perishable food donations at the following locations:

Bonnie Doon Mall near Safeway (8330 82 Ave NW) from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

McClure Church (13708 74 St NW) from 11:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Mill Woods Town Centre SW parking lot (2331 66 St NW) from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Oscar Romero School (17760 69 Ave NW) from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Edmonton Food Bank warehouse (11508-120 Street) from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
