Although the 2020 the Heritage Festival was cancelled due to the pandemic, the Heritage Food Drive remained - it just looked a little different. We had to find a new way to provide Edmontonians with a means to continue the tradition of helping while our doors remained open throughout COVID-19 and its impact on the most vulnerable community members.

By transitioning this event into a drive-thru Food Drive at Southgate Centre and the Main Food Bank warehouse, Edmonton's Food Bank was able to collect 29,396 kilograms of food and $215,825.64 during the 2020 event, which helped keep our shelves full into the fall.

We are always humbled and grateful for the support of our community. Thank you.
