Volunteer Opportunities

If you are part of a service club, group, company, or organization, and are interested in coming into Edmonton’s Food Bank to help, please contact Judy at 425–2133.

Depending on what is available, volunteers may

Sort food coming in from the community into the different food groups
Ensure that no expired or damaged products go through to the hamper line
Repackage bulk food into individual servings
Lifting required
Greet donors at events
Accept food and money donations
Act as ambassadors for the organization while at special events

Group Requirements

Group size must be kept to a maximum of 15 people.
Please contact Judy directly if there are children under 15 in your group.
No sandals, flip flops, or similar shoes permitted in the warehouse. Running shoes are the best.
